SEMI-CIRCULAR BENCH SEATING
Nerang / Gold Coast
This backyard centre piece perfectly frames a natural stone fire pit and consists of a treated structural timber subframe, concreted into the ground and finished in 140mm merbau decking for lasting resilience from the elements.

SYNTHETIC PALM LEAF
Made from recyclable, sustainable plastic / composite, UV treated and fire retardant. Accompanied by a 20year written Warranty and has a 50 year life expectancy, which of course, whilst the initial investment is a little higher than natural thatch, the savings are very significant in the long term, given that natural thatch requires replacing every 8-10 years and shows signs of wear within a couple of years, whereas synthetic retains its volume, shape and colour, over its life. The plastic, or "composite" used, is the same as used to manufacture kayaks, so it also has outstanding resistance to salt and chemicals. Synthetic palm leaf can be installed onto stained or painted battens, to mimic natural thatch from underneath, or onto stained, painted or textured plywood, or wood panelling to resemble a boat house

COLOURBOND
Colour Bond roofing is a great option for gazebos, with a range of colours to suit your style or simply match the existing roof of your home.. It is lightweight, strong, and highly durable, making it perfect for providing shade and protection from the elements. Colour Bond roofing is also low maintenance, allowing you to enjoy your gazebo with minimal hassle. Colour bond is amongst the most cost effective roofing materials, whilst also being one of the most durable, and if you want to collect drinking water from your roof, it is the best choice. It is also one of the most versatile roofing materials, being suitable for virtually any pitch roof, lean to, carport or pergola. Depending on the colour you choose, colourbond alone does not have the greatest insulation properties, however this can be mitigated by choosing lighter colours, higher clearance, and / or a ceiling fan. You can also line the roof prior to installing the colourbond, with plywood , wood panelling or VJ board. This leaves a cavity which naturally traps heat, however for maximum effect, insulation can also be installed as an option.

BALI HUTS - Natural alang alang thatch
Our Bali Huts feature a traditional alang alang thatch roof. This natural thatching material is both durable and stylish, and provides an authentic Balinese look and feel to your outdoor living space. Apart from their most obvious desirable feature, being their natural exotic beauty, and bringing a resort style feel to your outdoors, thatched roofs, when properly installed, have no equal in terms of their ability to absorb the heat of the hottest mid summer days.
Natural authentic alang alang thatch is sourced from Bali, Lombok and other parts of Indonesia, and is carefully handcrafted by our team of experienced artisans to ensure maximum longevity.
Beware those that compromise on quality by skimping on the amount of thatch used in order to achieve an attractive pricepoint, which will inevitably, greatly decrease the lifespan of the product.

AFRICAN REED
African roof thatching has a long and rich history, with some thatched roofs dating back over 1000 years. The technique was used by many African tribes to create homes and dwellings, and has been adapted over the years to other parts of the world.
African reed thatching provides limited protection from the elements unless it is installed over plywood. It is primarily for shade, as it is not particularly water proof, particularly when installed on round structures like umbrellas. It is however a great option when wanting to achieve a more tailored look, with its signature layered design.
